Hi Cory

Welcome back and thanks for signing the Honor Code. I hope you discover as much about your family as I have about mine over the last several years.

Check out the How-to pages for some quick tips on working with both the Wiki pages and our other members. There is some great information on those pages.

Getting the Best from DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.

The GEDCOMpare process guide has tips on how to use the data in your file most efficiently.

Hi Cory,

Me again. Noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step of the process including screenshots that you might find helpful.

The help pages give lots of information about the process, best to start with 'Before you import a GEDCOM'.

Find instructions here for reviewing your GEDCompare Report if you want to import it into WikiTree.

Hi Cory,

Thanks for your message regarding your desire to find out more about your family history and associated links. I have found WikiTree to be an excellent tool for research and collaboration.

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add Profiles to WikiTree. Once you entered your family members it is exciting to see other people finding your family profiles, asking questions, and expanding it.

If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top left, or head over to the G2G forum, you might want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.

Great to have you on board, good luck growing your branches, and thanks for offering to help with our shared tree.
