Biography[1]
Johan Jacob Bender was born 17 December 1673 and baptized the same day in Werdorf, Lahn-Dill-Kreis, Hesse, Germany. Also in Werdorf, he married a woman with the name of Anna Margretha on 27 October 1701. Apparently her last name at birth was missing from the record. Together they had six known children:
- Anna Margreth Bender (1702-1759)
- Johann Conrad Bender (1706-?)
- Johannes Bender (1709-1730)
- Johann Wilhelm Bender (1712-1717)
- "Catharina" Elisabetha Bender (1715-1758)
- Johann Wilhem Bender (1722-1769)
Johan Jacob Bender died 22 May 1743 in Werdorf and was buried there the next day.
