Biography
Daisy was born 19 October 1895 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was the eldest daughter born to her mother, Martha Hermann and the second daughter born to her father, Frank Bender.
Daisy married twice. Her first marriage was to John J. Sykes, with whom she had two children. She became a young widow when John, who was a city fire fighter, died from injuries sustained in the line of duty.
Daisy’s second marriage was to Howard Wyman.
She died 20 December 1982 in Ardsley, Pennsylvania.
