Biography

Christina was born in 1756. She was the daughter of Johann Painter and Catherina Haug. She passed away in 1806.

Research note Could not find a baptism record at the indicated year in church book of Eschelbach, the supposed birth place of her father.

"I, Leonard Painter, at this time being of sound and perfect memory. I give to my son George Painter the tract of land lying in the fork of Second Broad River and Cain Creek, the land we now live on bought from Thomas Walker. Also all moveable property, except the pewter and cubbard furniture, beds and furniture to be equally divided between my two dtr. Christean Deck the wife of Henry Deck & Betsey Deck the wife of Jacob Deck. It is my will that one year from my decease my son George shall pay unto Jacob Deck the sum of $50. I apoint my trusty friend Jacob Deck & John Carson , executors. Wit: F. Walker, AM. Enloe, Buckner Eaves. Signed: Leonard Painter."
