Elikim was born in 1778. He is the son of Benjamin Benedict and Mary Boughton.

Married 28 May 1798, Ruth Anna, dau. David Beebe, b. Sept 11, 1781 and d. Sept 1, 1868. Settled in Coventry, 1801.
