Rachael Benedict, remembered as being "the virtuous and pious consort," died Dec. 1, 1737.
Thomas married second Hannah Knapp (~1673 - ) on 14 Oct 1740 in Connecticut Colony.
Thomas died on 10 May 1743 in Norwalk aged 72.
His will is dated 17 January 1738/39 and proved on 5 June 1744 in Fairfield. His inventory was taken on 7 June 1743.[5] He left an estate valued at 160 pounds that included one enslaved negro man, Winsor.
