Biography

Joanna Benjamin was born on 4 May 1798 in Horton Township, Kings, Colony of Nova Scotia, daughter of Abel Benjamin (~1762– ) and Eunice Rand (1769–1855).[1][2][3]

It is possible that she was the Joahah Benjamin enumerated with the Huntington family in Berwick, Kings, Nova Scotia in 1871, but there are not enough other sources to confirm this.[4]

Some family trees give her a death date of 27 February 1880 in Coldbrook, Kings, Nova Scotia, and include a gravestone image. Again, this image is somehow tied to the Huntington family.
