Phenby Bennehan is a part of US Black heritage.

Phenby, most likely a child of Milly, lived in Wake Co, NC on the Fish Dam Plantation. She was a slave owned by Thomas D. Bennehan. Phenby was listed in Thomas Bennehan's probate papers in 1847.[1]
