Johannes/John Heinrich/Henry Benner married first Margarete Elisabeth Zacharias - parents of Maria Elisabetha Benner - Margarete died the same year Maria was born, in 1744 in Germany
He then married Margaret Steele on 21 May 1752 in Germany - they immigrated to Abington, Plymouth, MA - their children were Mary, Henrick Philip, Christopher Henry, John Martin, Peter, Catherine and Joseph Benner
