CHALMERS-BENNETT.
A quiet wedding was celebrated at St. Michael's R.C. Church on Tuesday morning last, when Mr F. Roy. Chalmers, of Bagdad, near Hobart, Tasmania, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Miss Mary Bennett, second daughter of Mrs Bennett, of Traralgon. The ceremony was performed by the Very Rev. Dean Colman, and only the immediate relatives and a few friends of the contracting parties were present. The bride, who was attended by her sister, as bridesmaid, and looked very becoming in a neat bridal costume, was given away by -her brother, Mr W. Bennett, while Mr J. Wolstenholme acted as best man. After the wedding breakfast, the happy couple left by the morning train for Melbourne on their honeymoon tour. They were the recipients of a good many useful and valuable presents on the occasion. Bennett-17863 and Bennett-13430 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicate, spotted while adding another Mary Bennett. I have sourced the earlier profile, confirming that the parents of both women are the same. Death took place in 1914.
