London prostitute from the age of 16.
Transported as a convict to Tasmania for 7 years for child stealing. Trial date 23/10/1837 (Old Bailey). Left Woolwich 29/4/1838, arrived Hobart 29/8/1838 on the Nautilus. Worked for various VDL citizens in servitude including official offices such as police stations (Launceston, Morven, Norfolk Plains). Did not stay with private citizens for long periods due to larceny, drunkenness, gross misconduct, absconding and insolence.
Married William Pearce in Launceston 8/11/1843.[1] Certificate of Freedom 23/10/1845.[2] Moved to Adelaide from Launceston on the Henry - arrived 21/11/1845. Died of dementia in 1874 whilst in an insane asylum in Adelaide.
