James William Bennett was born in 1852 in Barnsbury, London, Middlesex, England, United Kingdom.[1] James, child of James Bennett & Jane Bennett, was baptised on 8 August 1852 in St Paul, Wilton Place, London, England.[2]
It seems that James married Belinda (Eyres) Bennett after the death of her first husband, Stevens Bennett and before the 1891 census. It also seems likely that James and Stevens were brothers as Belinda's daughter, Amelia, is shown as James' niece in the 1891 census.
James William Bennett, of Towercliff, Atherton Street, New Brighton, Cheshire died on 30 April 1910 at County Hospital York, and his estate passed probate on 16 August 1910 in London, England.[3]
