Biography
In the 1861 census Mary Bennets aged 7, scholar, was living in Polvenna, Perranzabuloe, Cornwall with her parents John (44) and Mary (43) and siblings Jane (19) John (13) Richard (12) Philip (11) William (5) Charles (4) Samuel (3) and Edward (1). [1]
She was aged about 10 when she emigrated to South Australia with her family on the Adamant, arriving at Port Adelaide on 25 September 1863. [2]
