Biography

Isaac Lockwood Bennett, the son of Abraham Bennett born in Oyster Bay, New York, was born 11 May 1839, on Long Island, New York.^[1] Isaac's mother was Emiline Lockwood, wife of Abraham Bennett.^[2]

He married Mary Jane Marcet about 1862. Their first child, Rene Lockwood Bennett was born in 1863. His death certificate lists his mother as Mary J. Marcet.^[3][4]

Isaac was a teamster^[1]

Isaac died 27 December 1910, in Willington, Connecticut.^[1] He was buried 31 December 1910 at Cemetery of the Evergreens, Brooklyn, New York, lot #1427 Bethany. ^[5] Isaac had been an invalid for 23 years at time of death, according to his wife.^[1]
