Isaac Lockwood Bennett, the son of Abraham Bennett born in Oyster Bay, New York, was born 11 May 1839, on Long Island, New York.[1] Isaac's mother was Emiline Lockwood, wife of Abraham Bennett.[2]
He married Mary Jane Marcet about 1862. Their first child, Rene Lockwood Bennett was born in 1863. His death certificate lists his mother as Mary J. Marcet.[3][4]
Isaac died 27 December 1910, in Willington, Connecticut.[1] He was buried 31 December 1910 at Cemetery of the Evergreens, Brooklyn, New York, lot #1427 Bethany. [5] Isaac had been an invalid for 23 years at time of death, according to his wife.[1]

Is Benjamin a new child. He would have been born in 1863, same as Rennie L. Mary consistently says she only had 4 children. Was the enumerator so unfamiliar with the name Rene that he heard Benjamin?
