His will is dated 21 June 1819 and proved on 29 November 1819 in Fairfield. His inventory was completed on 7 December 1819.[1]
In 1820, the estate distribution was set out to Elizabeth, widow, Joseph S. Bennett, Thomas B. Bennett, Stephen Bennett, widow Rhoda Taylor, Priscilla, wife of Isaac Sears, Charity, wife of David Judah, Martha, wife of Samuel Sears, Anna, wife of Zalmon Hanford, the heirs of Sarah Brush, deceased wife of Zophar Brush and the heirs of Lydia Lockwood, deceased wife of Thomas Lockwood.[2]
In 1822, additional real estate was distributed.[3]
In 1852. after the death of his widow, Elizabeth, his estate was distributed to the heirs of Joseph S. Bennett, decd., Abby Hanford, Stephen Bennett, Anna Adams, the heirs of Rhoda Taylor, decd., Charity Judah, the heirs of Priscilla Sears, decd., Thomas B. Bennett, the heirs of Sarah Brush, decd., the heirs of Lydia Lockwood, decd., and Martha Sears.[4]
