Thomas James BENNETTS was born about 1857 in Phillack, Cornwall, England

In the 1861 census Thomas (age 4) was the son of Thomasine Bennetts ( a widow) residing in Mellensweth in Phillack, Cornwall, England.[1]

Thomas arrived aboard the SS Great Britain, with his mother, Thomasine and 2 brothers Edward and Nicholas on 24 October 1861 [2][3].

He passed away in 28 October 1922 in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia[5] and was buried at the Ballarat New Cemetery and Crematorium[6]
