Abel BENOIT was born in 1624 at Luçon, Eure-et-Loir, Centre, France. He was baptized the same year at Luçon[1] Abel came to Quebec, Canada in 1650 [2] where he married Marthe Pontel 9 NOV 1665 in Montmorency, Quebec, Canada[3][4]

Abel died In Montmorency on 04 DEC 1687 and was buried the same say at Sainte-Famille. [5][6]
