Jane Benoke was baptised at the Parish of Minster on 18 January 1720/21, the daughter of William Benoke and his wife Ann.[1]
She married Thomas Hawke on 6 February 1749/50 at the Parish of Forrabury, Cornwall.[2] There is no other information in this marriage register, other than names and the date, so no indication whether Thomas may have been married previously or which Parish he may have been from.
The following children of Thomas Hawke and his wife Jane baptised at the Parish of St Eval, Cornwall are most likely the children of this couple based on dates and names.
Thomas Hawke, baptised 16 May 1756,[5], presumably died young given his younger brother had same name, and burial of Thomas Hawke, Junr on 20 May 1756[6] is probably him;
