Mary Benson was born abt 1810 in Grates Cove, Newfoundland[1]. She was the daughter of Joseph Benson and Mary Cooper. She married John Drodge on Nov 23, 1832 in Grates Cove, with George Lewis and George Benson as witnesses[2][3].
