Her father was definitely Thomas Benson. She was either born in 1746 in England or 1737 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Since she married in about 1758, the 1737 seems more likely. They had a large family including:

Elizabeth died in Frazeysburg, Muskingham, Ohio. She was about 85 years old. The story goes, "she fell dead while milking the cows and is buried on the farm." Her burial date is given as 1811 and the burial place is the Old Chaney Homestead, Pike Twp., Coshocton Co., Ohio.[1]
