William Bent was the son of John Bent and Martha Blanchard. He was born about October 1626 in Weyhill, Hampshire, England and baptized in Weyhill on 24 October 1626.[1] William did arrive with his parents from England to New England on the ship CONFIDENCE in 1638.[2] It is surmised after 1638 William died young in Massachusetts, probably in Sudbury.[3]
