Biography
William Bent was born at Middleborough, Massachusetts, in 1767, the son of John Bent and Bethia (Morse) Bent. He married Olive Cushman Bessey on 23 Feb 1790. They had two children at Mddleborough and then moved to Paris, Maine (the in Massachusetts), where they had eight more children. William Bent died at Paris on 24 Apr 1858 at the age of 91.[1]
