DIES FRIDAY IN ST. PAUL, IOWA

Mrs. Anna Mathiasmeier, 73, St. Paul, Iowa, died in her home Friday. She had been ill several weeks.

Mrs. Mathiasmeier was born in Houghton, Iowa, January 28, 1866 and has been a lifelong resident of that locality. She was married to Henry Mathiasmeier in St. James church in St. Paul. She was a member of St. James church and of the Rosary society of that church. Mr. Mathiasmeier preceded her in death a number of years ago. Her parents, three brothers, John and Henry Bentler and an infant brother, also preceded her in death.

Surviving are three brothers, Edward Bentler, Burlington, Iowa; Joe Bentler, Houghton, and Frank Bentler, Pilot Grove, Iowa, and three sisters, Mrs. Gerhardt Esmeier, West Point, Iowa; Mrs. Elizabeth Mertens, Houghton, and Mrs. George Hellman, Pilot Grove.

Funeral services will be held Tursday morning at 9:30 o'clock from St. James church in St. Paul. Rev. Francis Schafers will officiate and interment will be in St. James cemetery, St. Paul. The body will be at the Weisbruch Funeral Home until Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock and then will be taken to the home in St. Paul. Rosary services will be recited at the home Sunday evening and Monday evening at 7:30 o'clock.
