Biography
In 1874 Eliza was born in Rastrick to Henry Bentley and Jane Wilkinson.
In the census of 1891 Eliza (16) is working as a Worsted Winder, and living with her widowed mother Jane (47) and siblings Mary Hannah (26), Walter (25), Ada (23), Alice (18), Emily (14), Leah Wilkinson (12), Harold (10), Annie Elizabeth (7) and Ethel (4). [1]
In August 1904 Eliza Bentley and Alfred Squire were married in Halifax, Yorkshire. [2]
In the census of 1911 Alfred Squire (36) and Eliza Squire (36) have children Ethel (5) and Sydney (0). [3]
