Robert Longden Bentley Jr. was born in Baltimore County, Maryland, 16 Apr 1905, son of Robert Longdon Bentley (1858 - 1929) and Marie Constance (Myer) Bentley (1869 - 1945) of Pikesville, Baltimore County, Maryland ^[1].

He married in 1926, Anne Martin Breed ^[2].

Their children (twins) were born in 1927:

1. Anne Leiper Breed (Bentley) Kellam
2. Robert Longden Bentley III (died age 2)

In 1930, Robert and Anne Bentley arrived at New York from Le Havre, France, on SS De Grasse ^[3].

This family resided in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1940 ^[4].

In December 1949, they journeyed on a one-week cruise to Bermuda, arriving at New York on Q.T.E.V. Queen of Bermuda ^[5].

Robert Longden Bentley Jr. died 5 Apr 1985 in Florida. His grave is in Union Cemetery, Leesburg, Loudoun County, Virginia, USA ^[6].
