Biography
Married first Charles Woolley 4 Apr 1796. He died in Havana in 1802 while master of a ship. She re-married David Child in 1806.
Research Notes
Her marriage to David in Groton MVR reads: David, and Susanna Woolley, wid., int. Aug. 31, 1806.
The marriage actually occurs in Pepperell "David, and Susannah Wooley, both of Groton, Oct. 17, 1806."
From the "wid", I had to go looking for her first husband, the link to which some kind soul had left on Find-a-Grave. That she is a Bentley explains why the Childs and Bentleys share a monument in Groton Old Burying Ground.
A nice tie-down is that death date on the Woolley monument for Susannah Woolley is the same date as Green recorded for Susanna Woolley from the Bentley/Child monument.
