Jesse was born in 20 Mar 1917[1] in Covington, Alabama to Otto S Benton and Emma G Harper[2][3].
He married Marna Vera Davis 7 May 1936 in Dallas County, Alabama[4][5][6]. Marna passed away in May 1991[7].
Jesse passed away in 1997 in Jefferson, Alabama[8].
