Biography

6xGreat grandfather of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie of York.

He was a barrister at law. He died aged 74 and was buried at the Dodington Presbyterian Chapel, Whitchurch.

He married Lydia Yate (26/12/1759) at whitchurch and they had six children: Elisabeth (b 16/8/1760 d 4/2/1843), Mary (b 16/8/1760 d 22/6/1843), Samuel Yate (b 21/8/1762 d 31/3/1822), Thomas (b Aug 1763), John (b Aug 1764 d 2/4/1768) and Benjamin (b Aug 1765 d 1835).
