In the 1881 England Census George Berresford 35 born abt 1846 in Alstonfield, Staffordshire, England, railway labourer, was head of his household in 96 Harrington St, Litchurch, Derbyshire. Other Household Members were his wife Sarah A. Berresford 36 Blore Park, and their children, all born in Derby, Millicent Berresford 7, Elizth. Berresford 6, Mary H. Berresford 4, Sarah E. Berresford 2, and Laurar E. Berresford 3 mo. Their boarder Thomas M. Wassall 38 Brierly Hill, stocktaker, widower. [1]
