Biography
Peter Martin Berg, Sr. was born in Temmels, Saarburg, Rhein, Prussia, Germany, the son of Wilhelm Berg and Magdalena Weyer. His father Wilhelm was born in Nittel in 1815. [1]
In the 1860 census of Ashford (page 20) it shows William Berg, age 48, Martha Lena, age 46, 8 children, and Angeline Weyer,(mom) age 65. They had $1500 in property and $300 in assets.
