Hester was born about 1808. She passed away after 1846.
It is possible that her name was listed as Hester Banger on the marriage certificate referenced, and yet her real name per marriage was Parker. I also find a Hester Berger.

Able to find two Brush daughters in 1855 and 1860 censuses:
The second daughter, who would be about Ianthe's age, changes her name on each census. First, she is Nancy, then Isabella. Both could be misinterpretations of the unusual name Ianthe. The kids are living with Berger relatives as orphans, presumably.
The Parker name comes from the marriage certificate in 1836 - 5/1/1836. Hester Parker marries James Brush. Parker is listed in both citations (newspaper and church records). Per Ancestry, Hester dies in 1846, perhaps giving birth to a child. Ancestry lists no children. This also shows death date in 1846.
