Ruth (Berger) Lichtblau was born in 1915 in New York City, New York, the daughter of Morris Berger (1887-1965) and Esther Seldman (1892–1967).
In the 1940 US Census Ruth and her parents and Milton and his parents lived in the same apartment at 402 E. 4th Street, NYC.
Ruth married Milton Isaac Lichtblau (1913-1996) on 1 Jul 1943 at Manhattan, New York City, New York. They had a son:
Leonard "Lenny" Lichtblau (1949- )
Ruth passed away at age 86 in 2001 at St. Louis Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota.[1][2] Ruth was buried by her husband at Mount Hebron Cemetery in Flushing, Queens County, New York.[3]

Lichtblau
Ruth, age 85, of St. Louis Park, died peacefully in her sleep on Oct. 22nd. Ruth ws preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Milton. She is survived by her son, Leonard (Roberta); and her grandchildren, Andrew & Daniel; and by many nieces and nephews. Ruth was a loving wife, devoted mother and caring, generous grandmother. Her loss will be felt by all those with whom she came into contact. Ruth will be interred next to Milton at Mt. Hebron Cemetery in New York on Oct. 24th. Memorials preferred to Sholom Community Alliance. SHIVA will be held at Lichtblau’s in Edina tonight 7 PM. Arr. With Hodroff & Sons.[4]
