Edwardina (Berger) Robert has French origins.
Marie Edouardina was probably born on 28-Jun-1895.[1] There is another birth entry for 1-Jul-1890, but this looks to have been added ex post facto.[2] The date of entry of the 1890 record shows 26-Oct with a barely intelligible year, possibly "01". Given the marriage date (below), it was probably updated to allow the marriage to take place as Edouardina would have only been 16 years of age and the minimum general age for marriage in Massachusetts was/is 18. The legal note accompanying the 1890 entry, "GL Ch 46 Sec 13 2" is a reference to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 46, Section 13, which pertains to the Correction of Records. [3][4]
