Biography

Lucinda Berger was born about 1829 in Pennsylvania, United States, to George Berger and Sarah (Swartz) Berger.^[1][2]

Lucinda married Daniel Goss Dearborn, son of Asa Dearborn and Ruhamah (Choate) Dearborn, 23 April 1851 in Mount Pleasant, Westmoreland, Pennsylvania.^{[citation needed]} Daniel was living about 17 houses away from Lucinda at the time of the 1850 census.^[3]

The couple had 5 children:

1. Charles William Dearborn, b. 29 Feb 1852, in Pennsylvania.^[1][4][5]
2. Mary Ella Dearborn, b. 5 Jun 1854, in Pennsylvania.^[1][4][5]
3. Sarah De Etta Dearborn, b. 6 Jan 1857, in Pennsylvania.^[1][4][5]
4. Gilman Walter Dearborn, b. 19 Feb 1859, in Pennsylvania.^[1][4][5]
5. Frances Howe Dearborn, b. 29 Oct 1865, in Pennsylvania.^[1][5]

Lucinda died 30 November 1898 in Oakland, Alameda, California, aged 69 years, 4 months, 9 days.^[6] She was buried with her husband at Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland.^[7]
