Biography

Elise (Berger) Pulitzer has Jewish Roots.

Louise Elise Berger's marriage to Fulop/Philip Pulitzer in 1838 took place either in Pest or Mako, Hungary. In the 1848 census, Elize (age 25) was the wife of Fulopp Puliczer in Mako, Csanad, Hungary.[1] Louise and Philip's son Moritz Politzer was born on 22 January 1856.[2] Louise lost her husband Philip on 16 July 1858 to tuberculosis.[3]
