Biography of Julius BERGER of 1873

Julius Berger was born in the Hungary part of the Austrio-Hungarian Empire about 1873.

Julius Berger immigrated to the United States with his parents about 1881 or 1882, and settled near Herndon, Rawlins County, Kansas before 1900. The 1900 United States Federal Census has Julius Berger, age 23, single, living north of the town of Herndon in Richland Township, Rawlins County, Kansas with his parents Frank Berger and Barbara Unknown Berger, and a sister Mary Berger, age 14.

Julius Berger was one of several siblings:

  1. Mathias Berger, born in 1875, in Burgenland, Austria-Hungary and passed away in 1875 in Austria-Hungary
  2. Julius Berger, born in 1877 in Burgenland, Austria- Hungary, married Katheren Schuetz and passed away in 1962 in Horton, Brown County, Kansas.
  3. Roselia Berger Kleidosty, born in Burgenland, Austria-Hungary in 1879, immigrated to the US, married Mr. Kleidosty, and passed away in 1973.

  10. Elizabeth M. Berger, born May 15, 1921 in Goff, Kansas, and attended school in the Goff area, who married Gerald Schuetz, the son of John Schuetz, on February 3, 1942, at St. Ann's Church in Hiawatha, Kansas. and passed away in 2012. Gerald Schuetz passed away on June 18, 2004.
  11. Frank Henry Berger, born 1923 and passed away in 2008.
  12. Florence Evelyn Berger, born 1925, who married Mr. Woodward, and passed away in 2015.
