BERGERON, Lucien - native of la fausse Riviere (minor son of Joseph & Clemence EMOND - natives of la pointe couppee & inhabitants of this parish) m. 5 Jan. 1815 Magdelaine Guillaume SPARGENBERG - native of Jean Baptiste [parish on the Mississippi] (minor daughter of Guillaume - originally from Germany & Magdelaine MAYRE - native of St. Jean Baptiste of the Mississippi - and inhabitants of this parish) Wits: William HARGROEDER, Nemesie BOSSIE, Andre MARGS [MARKS].
The wedding was celebrated during Advent due to the war and the immediate departure of the militia leaving from here on the 4th January 1815.
