Marie Cleonise Bergeron, daughter of Pierre Bergeron and Marie Sidonize Guidroz, was born on 20 January 1834 in St. Martin Parish, Louisiana, United States. She was baptized on 29 September 1835 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville. Her godparents were Lufroi Moreau and Marie Melanie Guidroz.[1]
She married Napoleon Courvelle on 28 February 1854 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, LA.[2]
