He was the son of George Berkeley, 8th Lord Berkeley and Elizabeth Stanhope.[1]He was born in the year 1627.[2]He was baptised at St. James's, Clerkenwell, London, England on the 23 April 1627.[3]At Morden, Surrey, England on the 11th of August 1646 he married Elizabeth Massingberd, daughter of John Massingberd and Cecilia Pettit.[2]He died 14 Oct 1698 in Cranford, Middlesex, England.[2]
