He married Margaret Lisle, daughter of Sir Warin de Lisle, 2nd Lord Lisle, 5th Lord Tyeys and Margaret Pipard, in November 1367 at Wingrave, Buckinghamshire, England; They had 1 daughter (Elizabeth, wife of Sir Richard Beauchamp, 13th Earl of Warwick, Lord Despenser & Lisle, Chamberlain of the Exchequer).[4]
Sir Thomas 'the Magnificent' Berkeley, 5th Lord Berkeley, Admiral of the South & West married Katherine Clinton, daughter of Sir John Clinton, 3rd Baron Clinton, Constable of Warwick Castle and Idonea de Say, after 20 March 1392; No issue.[5]

He left a will on 2 February 1416.[6]
