Biography

Anne Berkeey was born in June 1707, daughter of Lord William Berkeley, Baron of Stratton,[1] and his wife Frances Temple. She was baptised at the church of St Martin in the Fields, Westminster on 4 July 1707. [2]

In 1737 she became the second wife of James Cocks of Reigate in Surrey, son of Charles Cocks and his wife, Mary Somers.[1] She was the mother of his only child, a son. [1]
