At the time of the 1920 Census in St. Martin, Louisiana Alex lived with his wife Georgette and children Wade age 10, and Willie age 18, Percy age 6, and Midland (Madeline) age 4. [2]
At the age of 35 his WWI draft registration lists Alexis as medium height and build. [3]His occupation has been farming.
At the time of the 1930 Census they still lived in St. Martin with all of their children. They haven't had any additional children since the 1920 Census. [4][5]
When the 1940 Census in St. Martin was completed, their biological children have moved out and they have added two adopted children; Dorothy Ann age 9 <refhttps://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?indiv=1&dbid=60901&h=647096670&tid=&pid=&usePUB=true&_phsrc=IaX4&_phstart=successSource/ref>and Donald age 7.
