Anna Barbara was born in 1729 in Oppau, Ludwigshafen, Rhineland-Palatinate, and came to America with her parents in 1738.[1]

She married Hermannus Loesch on July 29, 1758, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. They moved to the Moravian settlement in North Carolina in 1759, arriving on May 30th, and Anna Barbara died there in September of the same year. She is buried at Bethabara Moravian God's Acre in Forsyth County, NC.[2]
