John W. Berryman was born on the 19th of November 1845 in Woodford County, Kentucky. He was the first child of James Thomas Berryman and Theresa Elizabeth (Willis) Berryman.[1][2]

John's middle name was most likely Willis following the customs of this family line. Records will need to be found that contain his middle name to confirm it.
