Arnold served as a Technician Fourth Grade, Signal Corps, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Erie County, New York prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on March 5, 1941, prior to the war, in Buffalo, New York. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed as a Electrician and also as Single, without dependents.

Arnold died from a gunshot wound in the "Line Of Duty" during the war.
