BERTLING, Diane - Of Gilbert Avenue, Delhi, passed away at the Brantford General Hospital, on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 in her 75th year. Proud member of the Catholic Women's League of Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Church, Delhi. Diane was a hardworking and devoted volunteer in the Delhi community. As a project manager for many B.I.A. initiatives, she oversaw many activities over the years including the new mini-murals being installed. She volunteered at the food bank and with the Tour de Norfolk. She was an active volunteer on the Delhi Community Health Centre Fundraising Committee and was part of the original Delhi Harvestfest Committee. She organized Junior Art Classes as she loved helping children and was always busy serving her community. Beloved daughter of the Late Bernice (Mussell) (2005) & Gordon Bertling (1989). Loving sister of David Bertling (Linda), Tillsonburg and Phillip Bertling (Helen), Delhi. Cherished aunt of Jason (Amber), Michael (Sarah), Paul (Chelsey) and Bryan. Special godmother of Matthew Malcolm and Tabitha Alward. Loved by her furry friends, Sir Lancelot and the Late Meeko. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 for visitation on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Delhi on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Alan Dufraimont officiating. Interment in Delhi Cemetery. In lieu of flowers for a fragrance free visitation, Memorial Donations to the Delhi Community Health Centre will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
