Christian has Kingdom of Hannover roots.

Christian was born in Twistringen [1] which was at the time part of the Kingdom of Hanover. [2]

He emigrated to Baltimore in 1879, and his homeland was then part of Prussia. His occupation on the 1910 US Census was listed as an accountant.

In the 1910 census Oscar (age 47), Accountant, was the married head of household in Pittsburgh Ward 14, Allegheny, Pennsylvania, United States. His wife is Catharine B. (age 48), and living with them is his mother-in-law, Barbara Over (age 79), and child Lilian, (age 10). [3]
