== Biography == Leon est le premier ne de la belle famille de Lucia Savard et de Theodule Bertrand de St-Alban. he has a lively mind, loves children he is a fine storyteller, likes to talk to his mother,passionate about politics he studied at the village school until the fifth grade. From the age of 14, he went up to the construction site to help his father earn a living for the family in the summer of 1915, on July 17, Leon married the beautiful Gabrielle Savard. The young couple stayed with their parents for a little over a year. he takes care of the land of St-Casimir owned by his father One day, he left his native land to come and settle in Landrienne in Abitibi. He will be a road builder in Temiscaminque and Abitibi. Gabrielle and Leon will have sixteen children. However only ten children will live. Gabrielle passed away at the age of 43. Towards the end of 1941, Leon decides to settle in Val Senneville with all his family, where he live with the family of his sister Marie-Anne while waiting to settle on his own land.
