Marie Ludonia Bertrand was born on December 14, 1879 in Breaux Bridge, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana, United States, daughter of Arthur Charles Bertrand (1853–1924) and Eva Broussard (1854– ). [1]

Marie (18) married Leon Trahan (20) (born on March 15, 1878 in St. Martin, Louisiana; son of Jean Charles Trahan and Marie McNeil) on November 19, 1898 in Breaux Bridge, St. Martin. [2]

Ludonia was mentioned on a memorial in Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery #1, Rayne, Acadia Parish, Louisiana, United States with a death date of 1968.[3]
