Alcide Bertrand was born in 1836 to Louis Bertrand and Cidalise Ledoux. He died in 1885.

Bertrand-1109 and Bertrand-8 appear to represent the same person because: Date of Birth from Find A Grave is probably incorrect, 1840 census shows 4 sons, 2 under 5 and 2 5-10.
